Making Old Faces Young - The Natural Way

Making one’s face look younger is everyone’s dream. There are people who resort to different methods - even the most expensive ones - just so they’d get that look young, feel young atmosphere. But to those who can barely afford it, the attempt is considered a vice. Most of the time, you’d hear from these people the line, Why would you interfere with nature’s course?

But those who want to preserve the youth as they add up years would say, Why not age with grace? Yes, why not? You may think it is too late to do so especially if you were once abusive of your body (e.g., too much sun-bathing, etc.) when you were younger. Most of the time, it is the reason why people acquire the old-age look (even before they get to that stage) since the body was not well taken cared of.

The tell-tale signs of old age are the sunken hollows of the cheeks and around the eyes, sagging of the chin, wrinkles on the forehead, the rumpled and the total haggard look. But there’s always hope. The moment you realize you need to take care of your health is never too late a time to do so whether you are 30 or 60.

Exercising The Liver: An Excellent Guide To Health & Fitness

It is a tough job for the liver to keep the cleaning function of the body always in smooth operation especially with the present-day unhealthy eating and drinking habits of people. And, like any other machines, it encounters malfunctioning that needs immediate troubleshooting. But unlike other machines that need only oiling to run again, the liver has to be looked upon very carefully or the entire system will suffer if it does not function very well.

In youth, you might not notice the effects of malfunctioning liver. But when you reach middle and advanced age, you will discover that a lot of sicknesses are being caused by a malfunctioning liver. The symptoms of a damaged liver are: dull aching pain in the right side of the stomach area - often under the shoulder blade, terrible pain at the nape, rough tongue, unpleasant taste in the mouth in the morning and the appearance of yellowish color in the whites of the eyes. Other than those, a person with a troubled liver would also frequently feel loss of appetite, dizziness and drowsiness after meals.

With these indications of ailments, the person is often irritated and weak which could affect his entire outlook in life. And this could lead to fast deterioration of the body. Growing old would then become a burden.

Periodic Fasting Can Bring You Better Health

That fasting has health benefits is not widely known. No, not only can it help in weight loss; it can help in the improvement of the total function of the entire body system. It may sound unbelievable but fasting could even cure diseases such as colds, fever, cough and other stomach disorders. Some religious sects regard fasting as holy, a sacrifice, voluntary abstinence for religious reasons. But there is more to fasting than the religious aspect. It was discovered years ago that it could help improve a person’s health.

For colds, people normally resort to medicine. “Take something for it”, is the usual attitude at the first sign of such ailments (as with fever and coughs). However, there is an alternate to cure those illnesses and that is through fasting at the advisable duration of three days.

As treatment for colds and coughs, try not eating anything for three days. But take all the water you can take until your pulse and body temperature returns to normal. Take a good long rest in bed and after three days, you will feel like you’ve never been sick.
